Monday's Gift is Patience
"The market doesn't reward the smartest traders. It rewards the most disciplined ones." - Igor Arapov
Mondays have historically been the most unpredictable day in the markets a phenomenon researchers have called the “Weekend Effect.” News builds over the weekend, institutions are still positioning, and the open is driven by noise, not direction. Monday exists to hunt liquidity and establish the weekly range trapping early traders before the real move develops Tuesday through Thursday. The smart money isn’t rushing. Neither should you.
All Time Highs are sitting at 27,965.75. Currently, we are trading at 27,860. Near all-time highs, the biggest mistake traders make is looking for shorts. It feels right. Price is “too high,” it has to drop. But ATHs have no resistance above them. Institutions use those early shorts as fuel to push price higher. Until price gives you a clear reason to flip bearish, don’t fight the trend. Monday already isn’t the day to trade it’s definitely not the day to short into strength.
Game Plan
Bias going into today should be Bullish.
